University life
The University of Ottawa's students participate in more than 100 student clubs and associations on campus. The Student Federation of the University of Ottawa along with Community Life Services also offer a variety of activities, concerts and events. In addition, the games of our varsity sports teams under the Gee-Gees banner are always well attended. Join the many fans of our interuniversity athletes among our student community.
Sports and physical activities are open to all at uOttawa. With two sports complexes the most recent being the largest and most modern complex in Eastern Ontario our student population is encouraged to live a balanced lifestyle. Facilities include two ice surfaces, three gymnasiums, a 50-metre pool equipped with diving tower, a fitness centre, squash and racquetball courts, a multi-sports field, a multi-purpose sports room, a dance studio, a martial arts room, a sports medicine centre and a rehabilitation centre.
